Vancouver Valve is a uniquely designed meeting that brings together a highly select group of 100 global KOL faculty and Industry Partners to engage in meaningful, collaborative discussion around the current and future state of structural heart disease intervention.

Unlike traditional medical meetings, Vancouver Valve is intentionally designed to move “off the podium”. There are no conventional lectures or formal debates. Instead, the meeting architecture creates an environment where KOLs and Industry Partners interact as a cohesive global faculty—sharing perspectives, identifying unmet knowledge gaps, challenging existing approaches, and collaboratively defining potential solutions.

The unique stage and room design is central to this experience. It removes traditional barriers between speaker and audience, creating an environment where every participant has an opportunity to contribute. “Café-style” and “Off the Podium” sessions encourage open dialogue, peer-to-peer exchange, and candid discussion of the issues shaping structural heart practice.

The value of this model emphasizes interaction, collaboration, and practical problem-solving rather than passive learning.

Collaboration extends beyond the formal program. Group team-building activities on Friday afternoon and Saturday evening are incorporated to strengthen relationships, foster global collaboration, and create opportunities for participants to continue conversations in a less formal setting.

With participation intentionally limited to 100 KOL faculty each year, Vancouver Valve is a highly focused forum where the quality of interaction is prioritized over scale.
